Don't take change from people with dirty hands

That's a tip I just got from my brother when I told him that I was bumming around. I will definately have to pass that on to my son someday.

This week was a little hectic, Billy had a terrible flu for two and half days and I spent the whole time worrying that the baby would catch it while I tried to take care of Billy and stay far away from him at the same time. We got through it and the baby did not get sick. Saturday was his six month birthday. Hooray!

During our flu epidemic, I learned that I really need to work on being patient and on sympathy. My empathy could use a little work too, I guess. Maybe I could work at being less apathetic too.

All the "pathy"'s - they need work.

I've also been getting angry a lot lately. The smallest things set me off. So I thought that I would make a list of the things that are bothering my right now and get them off my chest. If I can see a physical list, maybe I can be more effective in changing the things that anger/irritate me. Here's hoping.

Things that currently anger/irritate me
1. Clutter - ooh I hate clutter, but I don't have much room to store things so my solution is usually to throw/give things away. This does not go over well with Billy who holds onto everything. I will have to come up with some better storage solutions.
2. Baby Facecloths - these are a bitch to fold! but if I don't fold them, I'll have clutter....dammit
3. Facebook - I don't like it, yet I can't get enough of it. Maybe if I just cut back gradually...
4. My memory - it's just terrible. I don't even know what to do for this one.
5. Gumption - I've got none.

So I'll work on my list and my "pathy"'s and I'll keep posting my progress and try to think of something a little more creative to post about next time :P
