I am going to be another boring blogger ~or~ as I listen to my son sleep

Well, it has been two years since I've last posted. Let's sum up some time....

2008
Jan 1 - I found out I was pregnant
Aug 6 - I turn 26 and find out my baby will be born the next day, a month early
Aug 7 - I become a mother to a beautiful 5lb 1/2oz boy named Seth
Oct 9 - My mom enters the hospital because she's sick with liver problems
Oct 30 - My mom passes away while undergoing tests at a hospital in Halifax, NS to see if she is eligible for a liver transplant
Nov 4 - We bury my mom
Dec 31 - I say good riddance to 2008
Jan 1, 2009 - I go to bed at 12:30am :)

Which brings us to our current date..

My days are now filled with the joy of being a parent. What's more bad-ass than creating a human life? My baby boy is an ultimate joy for me and after a ton of downs in the past couple of months, things are starting to look up.

I'm looking forward to posting again. Things will definately have a different spin on them....I'm thinking almost a whole 180, but there's still tons of immaturity left in me. As far as topics and content go, I'll just have to dig deep - really, really deep.
